  4. Utilized data-driven insights to assess water quality of 16 Tishreen Dam Lake using satellite images supported by field work, analyze trends, and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Oversaw monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of implemented wastewater treatment plants, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and regulations.
  6. Led campaigns with governmental agencies and local NGOs to raise awareness about the environmental situation in Latakia and co-create innovative programmes that align with our mission and objectives.

Cooperative Projects

• GIS and RS Analyst: 2017-2019
Inventory of Coastal Area Land Degradation Using Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System Techniques (ICALD).
A team of 25 members from the general organization of remote sensing (GORS), Ministry of Local Administration and Environment (MoLAE), and the General Commission of Scientific Agricultural Research (GCSAR) to conduct research related to land degradation in the coastal zone.


• GIS and RS Officer: 2013-2016
National Environmental Observatory (NEO)
A team of 13 members from the general organization of remote sensing (GORS), Ministry of Local Administration and Environment (MoLAE) to build a database of environmental infrastructure in Latakia and conduct the needed analysis.


Social commitment and engagement:
• Coordinating the annual environmental market with NGOs and entrepreneurs.
• Raising awareness about the environmental rights and duties guaranteed by Syrian legislation, a workshop done with the Syrian Student Union.
• Coordinating the annual workshop on renewable energies: pros and cons.
